About STUDENTS' COUNCIL
Who we are
We are the largest student body in the K.J. Somaiya Institute of Technology. From the exhilarating cultural and sports fest, Surge and Score, to the warm, welcoming and enjoyable Freshers’ Party, every small detail is planned and organized by us. We also orchestrate events in collaboration with other technical, non-technical committees, clubs and departments of the institute. Complying with the vision and mission of our college, all our members work together as a team to make every event a success.
- Our aim is to ensure holistic development and growth of the students in domains such as organizing, marketing, publicity as well as developing soft skills to make them ready for the industry.
- Ensuring that members of the Students' Council and students of the institute work in coordination to enhance the aspects of growth and vision is our goal.
- We act as the trustworthy and approachable representatives of the students, ever-ready to guide them through any difficulties.
- We work to ensure better development and utilization of infrastructure and services offered by our institute for our students.
We provide students with a platform that helps them make decisions and undertake new initiatives in order to work towards the welfare of the college and the student body. We strive to be ideal, confident and charismatic role models for all the students of the institute and someone that they can look up to and aspire to be like.
